Summary
This will guide you through the configuration of Apple Mail, on Snow Leopard OS for MAC, with A Better Outlook.

More Information

  1. Open Apple Mail.

  2. Click Mail, and select Preferences.

  3. Click the plus sign (+) at the bottom to add a new account.

  4. Set Account Type as Exchange and fill out the following fields:

    • Enter Account Description.

    • Enter your name in Full Name field.

    • Enter (youremailaddress@domain.com) to the Email Address field.

  5. Click on Continue.

  6. Once the setup is configured, you'll get an account summary page. Make sure the check the boxes for Address Book contacts and iCal calendars are checked. Click Create to continue

  7. Fill out the following fields for incoming server:

    • Your Name: type in your name that will be shown to your e-mail recipients in the From: field.

    • Incoming mail server: mail.abomail.com

    • User Name: (youremailaddress@domain.com)

    • Password: type in your password.

  8. Click on Continue twice.

  9. Fill out the following fields for outgoing server:

    • Outgoing mail server: mail.abomail.com

    • Check the Use Authentication checkbox.

    • User Name: (youremailaddress@domain.com)
    • Password: type in your password.

  10. Click on Continue twice.

  11. Click on Done.

  12. Click on the newly created Exchange account.
  13. Select the Advanced sub tab.
  14. For Internal Server Path and External Server Path enter EWS/Exchange.asmx and check Use SSL
  15. Close the current window.

  16. Click on Save.
